Very good memories in this gluten-free restaurant. The pizzas were very good and generous. I suppose the somewhat high price is explained by the quality products. I was a little disappointed that the manager didn't take restaurant vouchers.

A small, intimate restaurant full of travel memories while being well anchored in its region, Brassens awaits you and the Camargue invites itself...Cyril Lignac welcomes you as does the owner, very natural, who cooks up little gluten-free dishes for the pleasure of our taste buds! From the small crusty bread served straight from the oven, to the small homemade Cévennes paté flavored with porcini mushrooms, the back of sea bream with lemon sauce is hearty and delicious and what can I say about the profiteroles for dessert, for years since I had eaten them because of my gluten allergy! A delight ! All washed down with a good raspberry blond beer from the Garrigues brewery, fragrant but not sweet, it is tasty and refreshing as can be! My girlfriend had a vegetable soup and a honey goat cheese pizza, yum! In short, we strongly recommend that you try its seasonal menus, under its azure blue ceiling... Be careful when parking, pedestrian area. Come for noon, start of service and remember to book, places are expensive hehe! It was a friend from Avignon who recommended it to me, which shows how its reputation extends far from Nîmes! Gluten-free and good restaurants are not legion even in this Roman city!

Great discovery! We had a small family meal, there were 5 of us. Small room and the cook is alone behind her stove so reservations are required. We enjoyed the lamb with thyme and lemon, the pea soup and the duck legs. All accompanied by a Pic Saint Loup. For sauce the bread is crunchy. Homemade, generous cuisine. We finished with an espresso with a chocolate profiterole 😋. All with a pleasant and welcoming cook. We will come back. Thank you for this beautiful moment. 🤩

On our return journey from Spain, sightseeing in Nimes was on our agenda. As always, we studied the options for visiting a gluten-free restaurant in advance, as our daughter suffers from celiac disease. What can we say ☺️ we can only confirm the exceptionally great reviews of “Les Bartavelles” 100 percent. A very cute, charming little restaurant that is operated purely gluten-free and also knows about contamination-free preparation (operators are themselves affected). Both (and above all 😌) our daughter and we felt very safe! Price, quantity and quality matched all of this perfectly. It was very, very tasty! Many thanks to the warm lady who served us so nicely. Clear recommendation from us!! If we end up in Nimes from Cologne again, we will see each other again! LG family Herzog
