After a day at Versailles, we were in need of a glass of wine and some food. Tapas are always a good option and L’Equilibre was the perfect spot for a light meal before dinner. Set up like a traditional Spanish Tapas Bar, the menu is on chalkboards. You order at the bar and they bring it to you. A selection of wines, beers and some mixed drinks are at your disposal. It’s situated on a small pedestrian street, so you can sit outside and watch the happenings around you. Friendly staff. Quick service. And delicious food and wine options are at your disposal. Definitely recommend this for your dining pleasure.

We visited early January. It was Zero degrees outside and remarkably locals sit outside drinking wine. We managed to find a spot inside and enjoyed a very nice Alsace Riesling. The food was simple but very tasty. There were additional tables upstairs but we did not venture up there. This wine bar has friendly and attentive staff, a small but good selection of wine and plenty of mood. It was good value for money considering what we had. There were plenty of other tapas options to explore.

09/05/2024: "Ending our week-long stay in Paris at this restaurant was the perfect choice. Discovered through TripAdvisor, it exceeded our expectations in every way. The salmon tartare was a flawless start, followed by a Scottish Angus steak that was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouth. The accompanying sauce added an extra layer of deliciousness. The Crème brûlée was a delightful finale, paired perfectly with an Irish coffee. The staff were exceptional - professional, friendly, and attentive, enhancing our overall experience. The restaurant itself exuded beauty both inside and out. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of our culinary journey in Paris."
