Place popular with Parisian people with a daily menu for €20! We have eaten very well!! They treated us fantastically and let us enter with the dog!!!

Visited here on a Saturday lunchtime in Paris. We wanted to find somewhere traditional French and a friend recommended Trumilou. This was exactly the vibe that we wanted, we felt like the minority as tourists in here as most people were French which is usually a good sign. The food was good, two of us shared the sharing steak and whilst impressive in size, frustratingly it was quite chewy and probably not how I would usually like it. The steak was very fatty and just difficult to eat (see photos). Aside that, the chips were great and the ambience / vibe lovely. Would recommend this place for a traditional French lunch, but probably go for something other than the sharing steak.

I came one evening to eat with my girlfriend. The owner welcomed us, a fantastic person who was very friendly and sociable! The food is delicious with very generous portions. Their forte is certainly the duck which they serve with a delicious plum sauce!! Recommended as a restaurant near the Seine. You spend the right amount to be in the center of Paris

We go there often. Fred and the entire staff are always great. There you can find typical dishes of French cuisine, such as this delicious rib of beef grilled with thyme, one of the house specialties!

Absolutely charming. It’s so nice to still find an authentic restaurant that has remained “in its own right”. The only downside is the steak with parsley butter: much too nervous (change supplier!), but we go there often and the rest is very good. The staff is very friendly, and Fred is great.

26/03/2024: Small, charming restaurant with refined and deliciously prepared French dishes. As unassuming as it looks from the outside, the great culinary experience is even more overwhelming. In addition, the service is very sympathetic and the chef is very attentive. Both speak good English.

04/04/2024: Beautiful place, good wines but no conviviality, at the price of the glass there are not even a few olives or a little cold meat... it is better to go taste wine in Spain or Italy...
01/04/2024: Beautiful and easily accessible store; great service. Given its reputation, I expected a slightly larger variety of wines, but it is definitely worth the visit.
