Nous venons à l’Alpe d’Huez depuis des années, et nous faisons au moins un repas au Sporting à chaque fois ! Nous avons lu les nouveaux avis suite au rachat par la Folie Douce … qui n’étaient pas fameux, aux bas mots … Cependant, nous nous sommes aventurés à prendre le repas de midi, et nous avons été agréablement surpris par la revisite de la déco vieillotte d’antant, et la nouvelle configuration du restaurant ! Malgré cette bonne impression visuelle, l’accueil manque cruellement de chaleur, autant l’hôtesse d’accueil que le serveur… Côté assiette, nos plats étaient très bons, copieux et pas exorbitants niveau tarif comparé aux autres restos de l’Alpe… Nous reviendrons volontiers, peut être un soir malgré le côté bruyant relaté par les avis précédents pour nous faire notre propre idée !

If sporting has had a makeover, unfortunately everything is not up to par… Let's start with the positive: the place is charming, well decorated, with a beautiful atmosphere. The music is nice, in short, nothing to complain about! Around 11 p.m., the sporting atmosphere begins: the lights dim and the music gets louder But, unfortunately... the cuisine is very far from being up to par: The Corsican soup was tasteless, the onion soup was dripping with melted cheese, the spelled risotto had no flavor, the hummus bad…. Overall, no one at the table finished their dish. We didn't even want to have dessert. Only the truffle pasta saves everything a little, as if sporting should offer a 100% Italian menu Finally, it would have been appropriate to provide more toilets for such a large restaurant

Meal on a Sunday at noon. Yes it’s still expensive but it’s Alpe d Huez, nothing is cheap. And we had a blast! What is not common in the mountains I will return there with pleasure

Great time spent with friends. Very pleasant personal welcome and service. I recommend it with my eyes closed, especially the Savoyard fondue... a delight!

Nous y avons été pendant les vacances le lieu est magique avec le pianiste qui chante, très joliment agencé, un service de qualité un resto qui manquait à l’alpe, petit bémol je trouve qu’il y a de quoi s’améliorer du côté de la cuisine mais je ne m’inquiète pas car les repreneurs n’ont que 3 mois.
