Great brasserie with homemade neighborhood cuisine that deserves to be known throughout the city. In my eyes the best restaurant in Angers (and I've had a lot of them). At Scarron, you are never disappointed. Excellent authentic traditional French cuisine: everything I love: Delicious, hearty, comforting and very simple. Varied dishes, for all tastes. The quality of fresh products and quantity for unbeatable prices. You can even buy set sandwiches there for very little money if you don't have time to sit down. Very high quality products. My mother loved her Savoyard hamburger, a treat. A huge congratulations for the best rice pudding, creamy with the real taste of milk, I highly recommend it as well as their crème brûlée. The owners are simply adorable, simple, always so nice, welcoming, smiling and very commercial. Despite the crowds, they are very organized and we are served quickly. An institution in the neighborhood. I recommend, don't hesitate, you will eat really well there and you will be very well received.
