One of the last old school Paris bars, always packed with interesting people, located in the the fashion and business place to be. They don't take any sht and are extremely gracious to friends and kind strangers. Electronic music at a pleasant level with lively conversation, kid friendly.

Casual French food. The foie gras was the cold type, and I prefer the sauteed version, but it wasn't bad. I had the beef chuck cooked 8 hours, and it was decent. My wife had the duck confit which was good, and the onion soup was also good. The restaurant seating is very tight and not much space.

Bit grubby. Downstairs are the toilets. All I could hear was the chef (kitchen also downstairs) coughing...put me off a little. Food OK but creme brulee split.

1st experience for me. Not the last! This is exactly what I was looking for: a small neighborhood bar and restaurant that has remained in its original form with excellent products at very affordable prices. This little bar is packed every evening.

Small brasserie next to Place Vendôme. Doesn't look like much but the room is crowded, especially with tourists. A beautiful brasserie menu, with quality products. Very nice charcuterie board. A very nice selection of wine at reasonable prices, coming from all regions of France.

Au Rendezvous de Montmartre

05/04/2024: This was our second time eating here. Last year - and again this year. The restaurant has great value for money. It's on the cheap side compared to others in the area, but brings so much flavor to the plate. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious. Thank you!

26/03/2024: Great discovery. Very nice and friendly boss. Very good wines. You don't have to be in too much of a hurry but it's worth it, the scallops are to die for.

After reading local food gurus praising their Souris d'agneau (braised lamb shank) as one of the best in Paris, we decided to visit one night in January. Good Lord, they were so right! The lamb shank ticked all the boxes. Tender, juicy, melting, and most importantly fragrant. I felt like I had never eaten lamb before! My friend who is French encouraged me to write this. He agrees it's the best he has tried.
