Great discovery. Convenient because late service. Well received, fast, choice for all tastes. Smiling staff, available. 4 stars and not 5 because the salad would lack vinaigrette and as a Belgian, €5.9 for Grimbergen in a bottle is a bit harsh.

Without more, the beermargarita (beer cocktail) has very little tequila, too bad, then the burgers are nothing exceptional, this may be due to the lack of customers, try again before judging.

Very nice home ! Nice setting, good food and above all very honest when paying. There were 8 of us and we gave too much €. When leaving, the waitress informed us of the excess and refunded us. Well done 👏🏻 and THANK YOU. We will come back during our next visit to Avignon.

A brewery in name only. Very expensive for more than mediocre quality. The cooking of the andouillette is a complete failure. Served dry, with 1 cherry tomato cut in half and 4 small salad leaves, and a micro casserole of lousy fries. When I ask for sauces, we bring small sachets of cheap ketchup and mayonnaise. The waitresses are smiling, that's the only real positive point.

Slightly disappointed with the menu, the xl plancha at 25€ is not worth it at all...very few things on it....forced to take a side dish...too bad Service level, very pleasant waitress 👍

Very well received, but very poorly placed. In front of a door blocked from drafts, ceiling with water leaks, it rained on our heads. The crepe for dessert was almost thrown on the table. Muscat as an aperitif flooded with ice cubes to camouflage the wine's defects... However nice decor, and simple and efficient cuisine

17/05/2024: We enjoyed lunch under umbrellas in front if the Popes Palace, and found the food acceptable and the price consistent with other places in the busy tourist district. Our waiter was efficient and hard working, the daily special a generous portion (grilled fish, escargot and veggies). The plates being delivered to neighbor tables looked good too. All in all, a nice lunch. I'd go again.
08/05/2024: I have read the negative reviews and it is incomprehensible that visitors expect the stunning location of this cafe to require an equally stunning dining experience. Yes, it is a 'tourist' cafe, but get real, people. Lower your expectations. We had a meal there last year after touring the Palace and it was nice to just sit there and soak in the experience. The head waitress was very pleasant, and exceptionally stylish. The meal was fine, not exceptional, just fine. We returned to Avignon this week but did not feel the need to join the queue to enter the Palace, preferring just to sit and enjoy the view and have a drink. Because it was raining at times the umbrellas were up, so no-one dining had any view of the Palace. We sat right on the edge of the cafe where we could see the Palace, and the waitress came and dried the chairs for us. Service was prompt and the drinks as expected. Simples.
