Le Paris sur Metz

Very very good French restaurant, quite “traditional”. The meat is excellent and always cooked to perfection (I even left out the sirloin to find my best prime rib! Well this time it was more on the menu but I hope it comes back quite quickly!) their morel sauce is just legendary, incredibly good. The menu and accompaniments are quite traditional but it does the job because it's rather well cooked (on the other hand, I'm less of a fan of "sautéed or roasted" potatoes, I don't remember the name, a little too fatty for my taste ). The price is however quite high but hey... the food is so good...! The service is not always constant, there are days when the service is warmer than others and on our last visit, we had 2 "winds" (2 goodbyes without response, we will say that he had his mind elsewhere... and 1 generous tip left (me, Parisian rat that I am) without a thank you, obviously we don't give for a return, but all the same, we found it quite limited..) . We will of course not stay on this downside, it will not prevent us from returning there with pleasure!

A great culinary experience. The service is attentive, the dishes are very well made and deserve their price. The decoration is elegant, a downside on the noise level: next to tables for two, there are tables of more than 10 people, so the sound environment is strongly affected.

Excellent meal from start to finish. The only downside is that the plates should have been heated before serving for 1 menu at 75e without the wine... Despite this we will certainly come back.

Careful and deliciously fine dishes. The fish is cooked perfectly. The hearty but equally delicious gourmet coffee.

Very good traditional restaurant! Lovely decoration and attentive staff. I highly recommend the egg casserole (suggestion of the moment) which is just excellent and incredibly original (it cooks at the table!🤩) and the scallop carpaccio which is just a delight!🤩

I have never had such delicious veal rice with such skillfully designed accompaniment. Crème brûlée just as tasty, not to mention the frozen nougat. All washed down with a pitcher of Chianti worthy of Italy. Very classy room service provided by Calogero's brother and another equally charming young man. A faultless performance that necessarily encourages you to come back before long. No wonder Mr. Rausch was a loyal customer. Thank you for this excellent moment.

Very good restaurant where you eat well. The dishes are of high quality and very good, the products are fresh. A little disappointed with the roast potatoes which were over or under cooked in the same portion served and a little simplistic for the price of the dish. The salmon was a little overcooked as well. The service is quality, with special attention given to customers. The servers are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is pretty and clean. The value for money is slightly high but it is still worth the detour. In summary, a very good restaurant in Metz which offers quality products.

First time for us, excellent and plentiful! Very good service, Nothing more to say! We will come back!
