Le Palais de Pekin sur Avallon

20/03/2024: While passing through Avallon we stopped for a night in this hotel with its cozy atmosphere. Spacious comfortable quiet room. A backyard accommodates cars in a parking lot closed at night and designed for electric cars. You can also eat there with 2 menus to choose from or à la carte dishes, delicious meal and end of starter to dessert for my part gizzard salad as starter and trout fillet as main course and lemon meringue tart as accompanied dessert a delicious little Chablis all for €25. In the morning we were treated to a good classic breakfast. All this supervised by welcoming staff. We will come back to it on our next visit.

12/03/2024: Bedroom in the attic, very low ceiling and dated. Fortunately it was cheap. Apart from that the hotel is well located with efficient service.
