Le Monchu sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

I had the tomato and burrata salad as a starter, pretty good, very good burrata, tomatoes not much flavor but it doesn't matter. Very good main course: whole trout and vegetables and my companion a burger which was very good. And a chicken and vegetable dish for children, simple, nothing more, I think it was missing some starchy foods. We will try other dishes on the menu next time I think.

Very good meal, very good Savoyard specialties, the only downside was the reception at the entrance was very cold and the welcome is different depending on the customer's mood. Be patient when you want to eat there because the wait is very long, we waited 1 hour before being able to get a table

Very good restaurant in Chamonix The interior is very nice, the prices are ultra OK for the plates we had, it was delicious Special mention to the children’s menu! They found a place for us super easily with our double stroller. Changing table in the WC ;-) See you soon

Really cool restaurant in the heart of Chamonix with a very cool chalet vibe. The menu was quite extensive with one of the most popular items being the raclette that you can have melted right on your table. Instead, my teen boys chose being able to cook their own meats at the table on a mini barbecue, but this seemed more fun than it actually was as the meat would often stick to the grill and the pressure to pull it off ran the risk of flipping it across the table and onto the floor. And it was too time consuming - there wasn't enough time to cook it all by the time we left. As for the other meals there were mixed reviews. My mushroom risotto was very bland but the escargot and charcuterie plate were very good. Desserts were fantastic - especially the brioche French toast! I would give the food a 4 overall but I give the place a 5. It is a very cool place I would recommend just for the experience. We couldn't even get a reservation for dinner it is so popular so we went for lunch.
