Le Mermoz sur Villers-Sur-Mer

Very welcoming restaurant with a lovely setting, the owner is very friendly and welcoming, the service is top notch and the food is incredible. I had the mussels marinière which are small as they should be.

A must-visit restaurant when we are passing through Villers. Unfortunately, despite an interesting menu, the big negative point lies in the service: the waiters are unpleasant! After more than 20 minutes to take the order and several calls, the waiter dared to tell us "it's okay, no stress, it's the holidays!". What a shame, they would almost ruin our moment...

My biggest impression when leaving the establishment was that it had been a long time since I had been in a restaurant! Being taken care of by a real server who knows how to sell, I didn't think that existed anymore since the COVID crisis! Overall the waiting time was a little long but the service was smooth and explained by the busy lunchtime. Everything arrived regularly, during the holiday period with good weather and a magnificent setting, in short we were in no hurry. The waiter took care of us with professionalism while we looked at the menu from the outside. We had a very good place on the terrace with our doggie. We were able to juggle a little with the menu and all the plates were distributed empty. The final score is higher than usual for the 5 of us, but we left the basic 2/3 course menu which is very competitive, it was worth it! The cooking is simple and efficient and the products are quality and very well made. In short, I'll give you the restaurant rated in €€ which is not wrong, but we quickly move on to €€€ if we really want to enjoy this beautiful, very well-made menu. A great discovery.
