I have never given an opinion on this restaurant despite having eaten there and taken takeaway several times. I went back there while passing through Toulouse and nothing changed, a couscous of incomparable flavor and very hearty. The service is very pleasant as is the place. I recommend. Also do take away!!

L'accueil était très sympathique et chaleureux. Le coucous très copieux et très bon, pas de tajine le samedi soir. C'est petit, il vaut mieux réserver. Ils font aussi la vente à emporter. Musique et ambiance en accord avec le couscous, un vrai dépaysement.

Une expérience incroyable ! L'accueil est très chaleureux, on se sent comme à la maison. Le couscous est absolument délicieux, j'ai pris un couscous végétarien et il était malgré l'absence de viande très complet et savoureux, je me suis régalée. Les portions sont très généreuses, nous avons pu emporter les restes chez nous ce qui nous a permis de continuer à nous régaler le reste de la semaine. Les prix sont très abordables par rapport aux quantités et à la qualité ! Probablement un des meilleurs couscous de Toulouse.

Un couscous délicieux aux généreuses kefta de veau subtilement parfumée une semoule fine incroyable aux épices secrètes venues du Maroc et un service souriant ! Bref parfait ! Une expérience marocaine à renouveler

17/04/2024: A place like few others in Toulouse. If the entrance seems very classic, a whole universe opens up little by little when you reach the tables. Close to the kitchens, you will be able to enjoy seasonal products cooked in harmony with each other. And a service that wants to listen, but which seems to get impatient when you mention your intolerances. Even if we had a great time during our evening. It should be noted that the price, undoubtedly justified by the whole house, leaves at the end the feeling of an unfinished “gastro”. This restaurant, which will continue to offer an inventive menu, is worth the discovery!

Le Safran

06/04/2024: Eating at “Safran” is like being invited to the house of the man who runs the restaurant. There is a real feeling of closeness and warmth that cannot be found anywhere else. To give you an idea, we tried to come and eat in the evening a month ago but I misread the timetable and we came at closing time. Despite this, the owner offered us a gazelle horn for our trouble. All dishes are vegetarian. Me and my partner were able to eat the pea tagine and the sweet potato/pear tagine. It was tasty and all the more delicious as the flavors of the dishes were mastered. The deserts are varied and succulent. In short, I advise you to stop by this restaurant. I hope this will be as much a pleasure for you as it was for me.
01/04/2024: The kindness and welcome of the owner is incredible, however it is a tea room, it is not a restaurant, there are no dishes cooked on site. The vegetable couscous is good but poor in ingredients, the 12 euros are excessive considering that. We must also review hygiene and the use of gloves; these same gloves cannot cook, touch the telephone or give change. They are not used to protect hands but to avoid cross contamination...
