A very nice, sophisticated and careful address with high-end gourmet cuisine. Everything was delicious with a great complexity of tastes, sometimes difficult to discern. You have to savor slowly and the plates at temperature allow this. The products are very good and the cooking is successful, pearly fish, crunchy and melting prawns, meat at the perfect point. The accompaniments are multiple and each key has its own very personal character. The plates are treated as variations on a theme. The revisited strawberry mille-feuille is a nice conclusion to this menu rich in fresh and crunchy vegetables accompanied by always warm country bread and a limited but beautiful wine list by the glass, which allows you to indulge without excess. The white wines were a little too fresh for my taste, but nothing serious as you just have to wait a few minutes for them to develop. French gastronomy the Japanese way...be careful! there is very little place setting, reservation required.

I visited six years ago, and I still remember the shock of the deliciousness. It was by far the most delicious overseas food I've ever eaten. All the courses were delicious, but I can't forget the tenderness of the main meat and the sauce. It's run by a Japanese couple, and it was perfect for the last dinner of our trip to Paris, with no customer service. I definitely want to visit again when I go to Paris.

23/03/2024: Florina is one of those hidden addresses that deserve to be better known. The chef of Spanish origin is very friendly. He also convinced his friend to open a small shop selling Spanish products right next door (I recommend you take a look there). But its cuisine is French, even if it sometimes includes touches of Spanish inspiration, like the (delicious!) Iberian ham croquettes with their side of smoked paprika mousseline. The chef likes to discuss his cuisine as much as he does wines, and he knows his stuff: for example, I tasted a very good Romanian white wine there, and a number of lovely French finds. But above all, the chef is so talented! I've been there more than ten times (I've stopped counting), and I've always had a great time. The dishes are elaborate, tasty, balanced. Even the diced bread is delicious. Every time I say the same thing to myself: why aren't there more people in this room, it's so good! Perhaps the location in the middle of Boulevard Port-Royal, or the decor, has something to do with it. The room is cute but nothing more. But it's nice to be able to see the chef and his sous chef working behind a glass roof located in the room. Allow around 50 Euros for starter/main course/dessert and a glass of wine.
