Lovely view at this beachside restaurant with good service, friendly staff and delicious fresh food. We really enjoyed our meals there especially the veal cutlet, steak & fish with citron sauce. Would definitely recommend.

I gave it 3 stars because one of the waitresses we had was friendly and recommended a very good seafood soup. On the other hand, the service... Arrived at 12:25 p.m., we left at 2:10 p.m. without having eaten dessert or had coffee, so it took 2 hours to have 1 dish. After waiting for the dessert menu for 20 minutes. We are asked if we want desserts or not? I said yes, and after bringing the card: no one. We left straight away.

We spent a wonderful week, pampered by a very professional and attentive staff. Very pretty, well-kept and quiet beach. Ideal for both couples and families. We will definitely be back!

14/08/2023: In Menton, the excellent quality of Italian restaurateurs. Welcome surprise at the Panama plage restaurant in Menton in the Sablettes area. I had heard good things about it. I can confirm excellent quality catering in a refined environment and a professional and welcoming service (Paolo and Francesca attentive managers, polite staff) Fish and non-fish dishes, expertly prepared by a chef who with multiple experiences in catering, including starred ones, and with a lot of passion, prepares his dishes in which the freshness of the products (exceptional raw fish) and creativity are highlighted. A high level sensory experience at a very reasonable price, highly recommended!

21/11/2023: A daring decision, or simply masochistic, to venture there during August 15th. The wait to place an order was so long that we had time to review our life passing by, as well as the seasons of our favorite series in my head. And when the dish finally arrived after 1h30, it was quite a tragic episode. My fortunate companion, attracted by the call of the sea, boldly opted for a culinary adventure of the seas, flirting with shrimp and exotic marine animals. However, his frequent wanderings to the throne the next day gave me an idea: perhaps these overseas delicacies were not in their prime. The tumultuous waves of the ocean resonated in the stomach of this freshwater sailor. The promise of a marine experience turned into a digestive odyssey, reminding us that not all the treasures of the abyss are necessarily worth their price in gold. The beef tenderloin, this rebel, proudly displayed its anarchic grill tattoos, adding a distinctly charred note to each bite. My old-fashioned tender pink pepper sauce has mysteriously disappeared, supplanted by a mustard so bland it could apply for the lead role in a Shakespearean tragedy. The icing on the cake ? A waitress, an expert in camouflage, who made me play a restaurant version of “Where’s Waldo?” with mustard. A game where ultimately, it was me who had to find the solution by going to the bar. The “homemade” puree, for its part, reminded me of those moments when, as a child, I mixed water with Mousseline powder. The “generous” glass of extra frozen fries, lost between mash and despair. But oh miracle! José, like a knight armed with a dessert spoon, saved us thanks to the preparation of his revisited tiramisu with lemon, briefly brightening this dark evening. Unfortunately, the manager offered us a fascinating study on fly behavior, while lamenting about her "busy" schedule. Probably too busy counting flies to notice the frantic rush of her staff, we quickly got back into the atmosphere. In short, “Les Sablettes” has become this place where you come for the view, but certainly not for the gastronomy. Hats off to this unforgettable performance! Well done !
