What a great lunchtime meal at this quaint French 🇫🇷 Cafe with awesome service, and excellent food. We found it near the Abbey Aux Hommes, and popped in for a wonderful surprise.

I rediscover the diplomat since the change of ownership and the authenticity of the place has remained with a new decor, ultra fast and pleasant service. The welcome is perfect. One. Delicious fried croq on the go. In short, don't hesitate to stop by.

10/05/2024: Pleasant restaurant located opposite the castle. The welcome is pleasant and warm. The service is fast and excellent even during lunchtime. Well done. The menu is well stocked and varied. The products are of very good quality. The dishes are well presented and delicious. A good address.

28/08/2023: The restaurant has been sold and closed since July 29th, 2023. New owners renovate. The time of the reopening is not signposted. 4 stars so as not to influence the average grade.
11/08/2023: One of the first restaurants I was able to try in Caen. Very calm atmosphere, in a sober and exotic decor. The waitress was very friendly although the service had been a little long. The dishes are good, in the style of fairly traditional cuisine. I think the menu is not renewed very regularly, but it's worth going there.
