The meal was tasty, the desserts delicious, but too noisy once there were people.

I tried my first cassoulet toulousaine. This was so yum. As desert I took tarte tatin. The Best I ever had ! The lady who served us has a good sense of humour, a charming smile, and a big heart for animals. Our dog was admitted with no problems at all, and he even got served first. a nice bowl of fresh water. I can really recommend this restaurant. I love the fact that they do all local dishes. The restaurant is nice and clean, and as I said before the service is really really nice. I’ll certainly come back!

The food was too well done. I had the Saint Marcellin with morello cherry jam. For the main course I had the cassoulet which was so good. To finish our experience, we had the Bannofee which was incredible!

The search for a nice restaurant began on the evening of a business trip to Toulouse. In addition to many tapas bars, kebab shops, etc. there were also a few other restaurants. At “that” store I saw the menu and studied it. “Foie gras” is possible as a starter with the menu… When I finished reading, I said to my colleague... I already know how this is going to be... we'll go a little further, look for something else... but I think this is exactly the right shop for me. In the end it was like that. We entered the restaurant around 6:15 p.m. and were able to save a table (as it turned out later, the restaurant was a very good choice. Full to the last seat). The furniture wasn't that fancy, the chairs looked like they were past their prime, but it had flair. In Spain I once "learned" that if you're thirsty (if you're thirsty), you first drink a beer before you drink the wine before/with a meal (also makes sense, I was so thirsty that I probably immediately drank a bottle of red wine). The fact that a 0.5 liter beer costs 9 euros... that's a lot... In summary: The service was great… fast, nice, helpful… everything was great. The food... it was pretty much the best thing I've eaten in years. I'll go there again (if I can😊)
