A great address in Avignon. Despite the name you can also eat something other than pork there! It's very good food for a very reasonable price. The service is great and the place has a pretty nice decor. In my opinion an essential place to eat well in Avignon

Très belle découverte : De l'entrée au dessert les plats ont été très généreux. Nous nous sommes vraiment régalés avec notamment la soupe de favouilles et le mitonné de joue de cochon. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Restaurant Hiely Lucullus

01/04/2024: Restaurant located on the main artery of the center of Avignon (rue de la République). On the 1st floor of the building, restaurant room with chic and sober art deco atmosphere. It is a couple of restaurateurs who manage the establishment with a masterful hand: the husband from Avignon in the kitchen and his wife of Peruvian origin in the dining room. The marriage is also made on the plate, where the flavors of Provence complement each other with Peruvian flavors. The chef has a lot of talent, the mixtures are subtle: grilled asparagus with notes of chocolate and sweet pepper… who would have thought it? And yet it “matches” wonderfully! No false notes until dessert included! We had an excellent, timeless time. The question I ask myself: why is this restaurant not starred? He fully deserves it
