Good brasserie, on Place Edmond Rostand. Ideal after a walk in Luxembourg, for 2 friends from Auvergne ;) We were very well received (visited several times) Only complaint: The salads are full of leaves, but very very few ingredients inside. I always find it very unpleasant to have the feeling that the restaurateur measures what he puts on the plates to the nearest gram. It's stingy for the price of salads.

The food was amazing. We ordered stew veal and Auvergne sausage. Soft veal and tasty! The smashed potato was homemade and delicious. Just a negative point, is that the hostess refused to give us the table we requested next to the windows without particular reason or any "reserved" indication.

15 years ago I proposed to my wife in your brasserie restaurant And I don't regret it at all, today married with 3 children and I'm happy For the staff with the same top service 15 years later still at the top 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

I felt like the food that we ordered is fine, my husband ordered a steak for medium rare and arrived to us well done. I ordered a beef stew but for me it is not that amazing but the beef is tender. But the escargots are delicious ! We also liked the Dessert the chocolate fondue it was amazing!!!!!! The service was not that great because we already ordered and the waiter went back to us again to ask what is our order because he forgot what it is. The drinks also arrived late we are already eating and followed up the drinks before it arrived. But its was fine the waiter apologized.

10/03/2024: Le Vivandier recently changed managers, and the result is simply incredible! The always welcoming and warm atmosphere is now associated with a dynamic and passionate team. The new cocktails and dishes are simply delicious, and the service is impeccable. Congratulations to the whole team for this successful transformation! I highly recommend this place to spend excellent times with friends or colleagues.
