Le Chabichou sur Saint-Bon-Tarentaise

Extraordinary hotel. We stayed here for a week, in a family suite with two rooms and a living room, a very large terrace. Prior to my arrival, I contacted the concierge and he made all the reservations I needed, very effectively. The resort is ski in/out and its staff is most efficient and helpful, they warm your boots and help you take off and put on. The pool/spa area is the best! The morning buffet is very good. The cleanliness of the rooms is extraordinary. They make your room twice a day. My daughters were at the kids club one day, and they really liked it. I thank all the staff for a great experience.

Not to my taste archi wise, very concrete walls to break the so called monotony of wood chalets. This modernism denotes too much vis-à -vis Courchevel. What’s up with those elevators! And the corridors made me claustrophobic. It’s an underground glorified bunker.

Well positioned hotel in an amazing ski resort, very elegant and chic and very kind staff and resourceful.I especially thank Mrs.Laure for the involvement and kindness with which she solved everything.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai passé un excellent après-midi au Spa du Chabichou. J'ai été très bien reçu à la réception de l'hôtel. Le réceptionniste m'a accompagné au spa. L'accueil au spa était très professionnel et chaleureux. J'ai pu profiter de toutes les installations du spa seule (hamman, sauna, piscine, etc.). Le spa est très propre, spacieux, confortable, bien agencé. J'ai pris un moment méditation qui supposait l'usage d'un casque spécifique. Toutefois, comme le casque ne fonctionnait pas vraiment et que ce léger désagrément interrompait la prestation, celle-ci m'a été offerte. Je vous remercie encore une fois pour ce geste commercial. Ensuite, le soin visage excellence était absolument parfait. La masseuse était attentionnée, calme, patiente, à l'écoute. Bref, les prestations sont onéreuses mais en ce qui me concerne, je suis très satisfaite. Cela vaut le coup. Les soins de la marque Sothys sont top. Merci à toute l'équipe !

Overall a good stay but the team and services need to improve. Rooms and access architecture is labyrinthine with narrow corridors and poor interior design. Ski room and spa were the highlights with excellent service and infrastructure. The gym is like a prison cell with almost no space or equipment. The concierge staff was kind but not very efficient, probably due to lack of good connections and poor software. The breakfast buffet and service were tops with great staff. The reception and office have much to improve. The bar was friendly and well managed. The Sidonie restaurant is one of the worst hotel restaurants of this class with its poor service, decor and atmosphere. There is almost no lobby and nowhere cozy to sit and enjoy e nice fireside mountain evening. The location is very good and is ski in ski out.

Beautiful and clean hotel, 2min walk from the center and close to everything. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
