Le Césarine sur Lens

We booked last minute and they were happy to give us a table. The place is a busy little bar with a dining room behind. They serve a good selection of interesting beers and they have an excellent short menu with good local charcuterie and cheeses being featured. The carbonade was as good as any French grandmother would make and they produced a scallop and linguine dish that proved they are more than a simple bistro. The menu is short and supplemented by interesting specials. They do really good chips in here. Delicious hand cut chips. It was busy with locals of all ages and they were all having a good time. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with the menu. They treated us like locals and we loved it.

Meals with friends, welcome and warm atmosphere. Good dishes prepared with local products!! Well done, we will come back for sure.

Super accueil du patron, plats délicieux et bien servis, bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.

Après l'Expo du Louvre, on longe la rue Paul Bert 15mn à pied et on y est. Salle agréable, terrasse pour les beaux jours. On a pris les bières locales et le tartare -bien préparé avec des très bonnes frites. Ma sœur a opté pour l'assiette de charcuterie locale et ses pdt. On s'est régalé. Je retournerai pour les plats plus originaux.
