Coming back to the hotel is a renewed joy because you find the luxury of a palace and the simplicity of a family.
Since the resumption of COVID, on the other hand, we have felt a tension on details that raise questions: single size of bathrobes (medium), mid-range beauty products, sometimes aging furniture (wardrobe), no more coffee machines in the rooms, reduced bar service, sometimes insensitive reception at reception, less varied products at breakfast... At this level it is difficult to justify. We hope for a bad time because the place remains a haven of peace.
04/05/2024: I was a beneficiary of their newly upgraded rooms/bathrooms and not only was my room absolutely dreamy, but it was perfect for everything I look for in a hotel room. The service and hospitality of the staff is a level above. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels and this staff goes above and beyond. Xavier and Nathaniel and team were absolutely warm and welcoming. I arrived on a cold, rainy, dark day and STILL had a wonderful stay. The food at the property restaurants are DELICIOUS and fresh. Worth the price they charge. The hotel is located on a wonderful pedestrian walkway around the penninsula and I enjoyed a lovely massage as well. I will be back!
