We were looking for a restaurant for dinner and we received a very warm welcome, the meal was good and the homemade lemon tart was perfect. The restaurant manager was very friendly, had a kind word and a bit of humor with the children. For our only evening in La Rochelle, it was what we needed.

The welcome and the dishes are very good except for the crème brûlée which was missing so I had 2 mini crèmes instead of a normal one supposedly it was the same quantity!!! 3 teaspoons and it was over, it's a shame to end a meal on this very bad note, I would have preferred him to tell me that there was no more crème brûlée...

Simple but very good food (very tender meat, homemade fries), very friendly, smiling waiter. Fair prices and pleasant surroundings. I recommend and I will return with pleasure.

11/05/2024: Friendly tea room, the pastries are good, we usually go there, however we were served today by a blonde waitress with a lack of professionalism (incomplete order, cutlery not placed...) and unfriendly, a young waitress with a braid made up for our experience though.
30/04/2024: The D'Jolly tea room is a real delight for lovers of delicacies! Their pastries are a delight for the taste buds, made with know-how and quality ingredients. The chocolates are exquisite, melt in the mouth, and go perfectly with a cup of tea. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, ideal for a relaxing break. The service is attentive, adding a touch of conviviality to this taste experience. A place not to be missed for a moment of pure gourmet pleasure!
