A good coffee with a good cocktail, pleasant customers, decent staff

An oasis that smells of hops, close and yet far from the open-air recycling center that is Masséna/Solférino. No brainless students here, we stay among people in good company, the music (adapted to the finest ears, based on Revenge, Blasphemy and other Black Witchery) and the oil (with demanding, powerful and original cards) flowing from barrels here form a real shield against cannonballs. The boss is a real ray of sunshine, courteous, with a devastating smile. The terrace is a real plus, spacious, facing the street and friendly. The female gender is safe there, the cannonballs and scavengers being in the bars nearby. And what's more, now we're showing wrestling on the giant screen! “peccable” as a great man would say! Only negative point: the music would benefit from being a little more violent. 😏

Very pleasant place with a smiling owner who is very passionate about good beer with a menu that is renewed very often! Then it has since been renewed with alcohols and cocktails for those who are less fans of craft beers. All this with good extreme metal music! To conclude, the six roses is a very good bar for a black metalhead who wants cirrhosis and a possible olive!

This place won top spot for me out of all the Lille beer bars. Lots of soul and character with a really excellent beer list. I sat down outside on my own to try a few beers on a quiet Sunday evening and ended up having a session with some locals and owners, great fun, nice one. Cheers.
