Great place to eat typical English pub food. For me it was pie, mashed potatoes, mashed peas and gravy sauce. Excellent ! Top notch service!

....and interesting and quirky little pub/bar in the lovely city of Montpelier... i chose it at random as I was walking around the narrow streets of the old town. Probably only someone from the UK would get it.... the serve pie and mash, fish and chips, Cornish pastie, and full English breakfasts.... and whilst I'm definitely NOT one of those tourists to seek out a British Pub abroad, it had a great atmosphere... quiet in the day, and busy at night... but with most French locals... which was a good thing in a way... worth a visit..

We really ended up in this pub by chance, on a very London-style cloudy day, and we said to ourselves that an English breakfast and fish and chips would be welcome. We were not disappointed, flavors and atmosphere at the meeting, the fish and chips were very crispy and the portion was really nice, we had a great time immersed in memories ☺️

Surprised by the last review given on the breakfast…..? it remains typical, black pudding, bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, hashbrowns and baked beans, service always good, in the sun this afternoon outside, for an Englishwoman in France what more could you ask for!!

Its a great pu almost perfect, kindly staff, quik service, affordable and cosy with soccer tv. Only one toilet

"All day" means till 3 pm, and they won't serve the breakfast at 2:45, on the sandwiches.

A must in my eyes here in Montpellier. The atmosphere is great, the atypical decor immediately immerses us in the atmosphere The dishes are delicious and plentiful, the service is pleasant Flawless, 10/10 well deserved :) The plus: a really great choice of vegetarian dishes compared to other restaurants!

01/04/2024: We came to eat Monday April 1st at noon, while many restaurants were closed in Montpellier. The service and warmth of the welcome were there. Despite the number of customers to serve, Mathilde proved to be a remarkable and smiling host. Thank you again for this moment.

19/03/2024: Superb place with a great diversity of beers!
14/03/2024: For us the top 1 in Montpellier. Beers that are different, sought-after and varied. (East coast west coast ipa, neipa, stout, sour, pils ect ect) The bartenders are incredible and passionate Their cuisine, whether on the go, shared or a good dish, is always fresh and excellent! After 5 years after our arrival and your discovery we wanted to tell you we love you! Whether with family or friends and even with your date or your wife, it's a good address. The lack of space some evenings bears witness to this ;)! Take away for drinks or on site for the rest, don't hesitate! 🫶
