Great, very good and good portions. Don't take into account the overall rating (3.9) and the 1-star reviews: it's not deserved at all!! Top service and good atmosphere.

I come to La Plagne regularly and the Baryon is one of my obligatory stops! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the servers, everything is great!

If I could, I would have given it 3.5 stars. We are regulars at this restaurant where we have been coming once a year for 7 years. We have always been satisfied but this year, in addition to the significant increase in prices, we were surprised by the plate of charcuterie paid extra. 1 half slice of ham, 2 slices of rosette, 1 slice of cured ham and 2 slices of copa for €7, gulps! In addition, a tartiflette served warm and cold in the middle with 3 or 4 pieces of bacon...in short, we left with mixed feelings. Damage

I don't know where to start because we were so satisfied with this establishment. Service, cuisine, atmosphere everything comes together to have a good time. We ate there every lunchtime and our last evening. Lovely people, dedicated to their profession. People we would like to find from all over France and especially in Marseille. Thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, your big heart. Unfortunately we didn't necessarily like the resort but if we had to come back we would come back to you. Very attractive prices for a superb experience. Special mention to the Charente Maritime waiter, a great guy. Looking forward and thank you again.

Great place to sit outside and eat and drink. The playlist on the Tuesday was best with T-Rex and Survior. The tartiflette was gluten free. The wine was nice too. I heard really good things about the burger from my friend (he had the burger 3 times in a week!). The staff were kind and patient. Also, your gorgeous dog outside was one of my holiday highlights, she's so lovely 😍

So, what can I say...we show up at this place, on vacation, during off-peak periods, relaxed and from the outset we make you understand that there are two services and that you will have to work around...So, at As soon as you sit down, they stick the card to you, and they ask you what you want for an aperitif when you haven't even had time to open the card yet. You receive your aperitif and we bring you the wine you have chosen directly with your meal. Then we quickly set the table and everything happens at the speed of a fast food restaurant. The food is good although the potato fries look like sweet potatoes... You finish your meal, you take a coffee pusher and you are invited to leave the place to vacate the place even though no one is waiting for you and your bill comes to 220 eur for 5 adults and 1 child... in short, not great but from there to recommend... I hesitate. On the other hand, I remember the kindness and availability of the server who was in charge of our table. I thank him and wish him much success in his future.

Excellent value for money, top service, relaxed atmosphere, nice cozy chalet-style decor, quality traditional dishes and specialties. Special mention for the morel fondue and the dessert “le baryllon”. I recommend
