L'Artimon sur Palavas-Les-Flots

Frankly, this restaurant is an address to know and keep or even pass on. The staff takes great care, the cuisine is just magical, with the dry ice the spectacle is present, but the must are the flavors! Ok it may seem expensive 55 euros, 75 or 125 euros but honestly ''it's worth it''.

We arrived at L'Artimon by chance on a Sunday lunchtime, after having been refused at other seaside restaurants. The team accepted us, even though they were short-staffed that day. It was an excellent surprise! A cuisine worthy of a starred restaurant, plus the simplicity and friendliness of the welcome. We delighted our taste buds (special mention for the scallops cooked at low temperature) as well as our eyes. The kitchen is truly staged: the table becomes a living painting, with home-made decorations by the chef! And the icing on the cake, our 11-year-old son, with a children's menu for €24, was entitled to all the appetizers and other sweets from the adult menu. A good way to gently introduce children to haute cuisine (and at a reasonable price!). The chef, who works with his sons, is keen to participate in the taste education of young people, we thank him for that!

Very good welcome, exceptional cuisine with a mixture of flavors that explode in the mouth, the taste buds are awakened with surprise and there is nothing but happiness. We really appreciated the invitation to visit the kitchen where we were able to interact with the brigade there too, the welcome was very warm. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant as it is definitely worth the detour.

The Mizzen is no longer the Mizzen. After having to make a reservation with a bank imprint, we arrived at the foot of the stairs which lead to the restaurant, a quick glance at the menu shows, they have not displayed the seafood platters. We are seated, after bringing us a hot towel to rinse our hands, they bring us the menu and there, confirmation, no more seafood platters, it's a cold shower for us. Service a little stuffy, we were starting to regret our visit. But it was a nice surprise, visually very pretty plates, excellent flavors, very good cooking skills. Everything was really good. The room staff took great care of us, the chef welcomed us into his kitchen to introduce us to his team. The first menu is 55€ and it is well worth it. No complaints, everything was very good even if we were more comfortable with the Mizzen before, we can only recommend this establishment. Best wishes !

Refined and original cuisine; everything was really very good. Impeccable presentation of dishes, haute couture type! The new management has visibly initiated a qualitative shift; this even though the cuisine of this establishment was already (very) renowned. On the other hand, there is a glaring lack of staff at the service level: the waiters were running from right to left across the room and we had to wait (then finally call a waiter) to be served a glass of wine... Too bad, because for everything else, there is nothing to complain about. Recommended address for gourmets in the region.

Magnificent moment of ecstasy and beauty of the dishes

We came 5 years ago, and had very good memories of it, so we came back and it has changed a lot...to be even better! From appetizers to desserts, everything was excellent, very fine, highly sought-after, and made with as much fresh and local produce as possible! We were given a tour of the kitchens to chat with the chef and introduce ourselves to the brigade. The staff is adorable and attentive, as is the chef, very friendly and available, who takes care of you personally after going to the lounge for digestives, coffee, tea...and offers you sweets, chocolates and other things. sweets, homemade once again.
