Very charming hotel in an old house. Upon arrival we are in a Norman atmosphere in an elegant living room with a large crackling fireplace. The staff is very attentive and neat. My room was nicely decorated in the old spirit of the place with modernity, spacious, with a very comfortable and impeccable bathroom. Recommended for a few days in Honfleur in a very well renovated old house of character with a professional and warm welcome.

A hotel with lots of charm and very well located, in a very quiet street and close to everything! we had a great stay. A very beautiful, warm decoration, it feels like a country house. Victor gave us very good advice, he told us his favorite restaurants before our arrival so that we could book in advance!

Merveilleux week end dans cet hôtel. Une belle découverte en plein cœur de Honfleur, une équipe aux petits soins, une chambre agréable avec vue mer, un petit dej copieux et viennoiseries incroyables, et du repos au coin de la cheminée. On reviendra!!! Merci à toute l’equipe

Merci pour ce petit moment dans votre établissement. Habitué aux 4 étoiles, j'ai opté pour cet hôtel de proximité à taille humaine. Situation au coeur de la ville et sur rue pietonne. Chaleureux, propre, service agréable et chambre simple et chaude à la fois. Petit déjeuner vraiment qualitatif, attention apporté dans tous les domaines et mettant en avant les produits locaux. Parfait.

Une nuit à l'hôtel Absinthe fut suffisante pour déconnecter. Le feu de cheminée, les poutres apparentes, la confort et la propreté des chambres, tout était très agréable ! Sans oublié la mascotte Oba qui n'a pas manqué de nous saluer à notre arrivée. Le nouveau propriétaire à transformé cet endroit en petit hôtel de charme. Bravo !

12/05/2024: Passing through Honfleur one Saturday, with my partner and my two-year-old son, we were looking for a restaurant in the evening to have dinner before going home. The town was crowded, but the manager immediately offered us a table to sit down. The quick, simple and warm service managed to overshadow the delicious and generous mussels marinière that we ordered. The waiters were adorable, taking great care of the three of us, in all simplicity, everything we like in a restaurant service, which put us at ease despite the rather chic image of this beautiful restaurant. Impeccable service in a context of very high attendance, this deserves to be underlined, it is increasingly rare. I highly recommend this establishment!

Bistro La Grenouille - Hotel L'Absinthe

05/05/2024: What a lovely stay in a historical hotel in one of the most quaint towns in France, Honfleur. Stayed here one night during a stopover after Mont Saint Michel and prior to driving to Paris the following morning. The hotel is tastefully remodeled yet still harbors historical elements. The staff and front desk were helpful our entire stay! Parking is a short 5 min walk in a protected building/garage. Recommend and would stay again if ever in the area.
