La Taverne sur Roye

We were driving back to the Netherlands from Paris. We wanted to eat outside of Paris. We came across Roye and La Taverne. Online, it looked great, so we took the chance. With the little French we spoke, we had an incredible diner ! The owners really made us feel welcome, and the food was just delicious! I had the escargot in butter to start with, and we had the entrecot special. After that I was full! I was VERY happy. My boyfriend started with a terrine du chef and had a desert, creme brulee.

Small, simple, but pleasant brasserie, attractive prices, copious dishes, special mention for the profiteroles which are enormous!! To share and enjoy.
