La Table Ronde sur Tours

We were looking for a authentic French restaurant and we were so happy to find this one! Great service, very friendly and helpful. We tried several dishes with wine recommended by the host and all was great! The cheese degustation is a separate experience - if you order a cheese plate for dessert, you get to choose 4 kinds of cheese from a beautiful wooden table. You get a presentation about the cheeses and help to reject the 4 according to your taste preferences. Home made ham on top of it was delicious as well. The interior is very cozy and authentic, even the knight is adding to the atmosphere:) We also loved the music. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I went with my daughter to "La Table Ronde" rue Colbert in Tours, the dishes are well prepared regional and French, the desserts at the top, spend a pleasant evening. I highly recommend.

Delicious! A charming restaurant run by a very friendly couple who gave us very good advice on dishes and wines. Everything was excellent and plentiful, from starters to desserts (and not forgetting the cheese platter). However, reservations are advised due to the popularity of the restaurant and the limited number of tables. Enjoy your food!

We feasted ! Great advice and great food

Passing through Tours, we spent a pleasant evening. The carefully prepared dishes were delicious. We can only encourage this young couple.

While passing through Tours with my partner, we were looking for a restaurant with French cuisine and we were not disappointed. The dishes are classics slightly revisited by the chef, but with relevance and great taste and the plates are very well presented. I won't go into too much detail, but the potato gratin with onion compote that served as an accompaniment to the fennel-buttered piece of beef was a little out of the ordinary but was perfect. The chef presents his menu with passion and even details the conception of his dishes. My partner who is not French opted for a plate of cheese for dessert, the chef's wife came to bring her a cart with a multitude of cheeses, the specificities of which she presented so that she could choose four. My dessert was a chocolate-coconut-caramel with a mix of texture (crunchy-soft) that I really liked. If I absolutely had to look for negative points I would say that the frame could be improved a little (but it is quite satisfactory), that the table leg with a raised edge is not optimal for my long legs and that the coffee wasn't great. I must still say that my companion's coffee and tea were served in a nice service. The menu is limited with three starters, three main courses and three desserts, but I don't see this as a disadvantage but rather as a desire to completely control your menu. In conclusion, I would say that I totally recommend this restaurant (and I will happily return there if I return to Tours) which is run by a couple of passionate restaurateurs. I invite them to continue and persevere in their efforts to always improve!
