Nice location overlooking the man-made lagoon and beach of Marennes Plage. We were passing and stopped - although early, they were happy to serve us drinks as we sat outside enjoying both the view and weather. We visited in early June and people started to arrive for lunch - we did look at the menu, but neither of us were particularly hungry and thought it was a little pricey. There is parking outside, and they have a large (slightly raised) covered veranda set with tables and bright, spacious indoor seating. As we were only having a drink we sat at informal seating beside the road.

Superb restaurant on the water's edge. Friendly welcoming staff, smiling and attentive. Very nice seasonal cuisine.. Everything is under control... Great experience for a first time. To do again.

We discovered the establishment in 2019, we come back every year with always the same pleasure. Always well received, always impeccable cuisine, we enjoy whatever the dishes, at lunchtime or in the evening and even at snack time for the pancakes! In short, a treat without a false note. Eating and Sleeping on the Beach: it’s our Lighthouse in all seasons!

Always very well received, whether to comfort yourself in the afternoon after a hike with a good Viennese chocolate and a caramel pancake and an Ernest ice cream (coffee-nougatine, killer!) or to relax in the evening with a very good dinner. Don't hesitate, you are in the right place, a good table and a beautiful view of the Pertuis de Maumusson and with a little luck, the sunset!
