La Papillotte sur Charleville-Mezieres

We ate last night for the first time, we reserved because our sister-in-law had already eaten there twice with her work. Our taste buds were delighted, we highly recommend it. Impeccable service, warm and attentive staff, it’s a pleasure!

We had lunch at this restaurant on Christmas Day. A perfect party meal from start to finish. The place is modern, but warm, the service impeccable and the welcome very friendly. The Christmas menu was fantastic. Special mention to the steak-style tuna, succulent, the beef as tender as butter and the chocolate-apricot Christmas ball, as tasty as it is beautiful to look at. The whole meal was enchanting. A great choice to celebrate this special day. There is no doubt that we will return there the next time we come to Charleville to discover the “everyday” menu. Updated review version "2023": we returned to La Papillote for Christmas Day, as in 2022. The service is always impeccable and smiling, the place always sober and welcoming, and the cuisine always succulent. I was particularly won over by the “iodized tartare” served especially for Christmas, fresh, tasty and so original. I hope to return very soon to this establishment which never disappoints.

C'est pour nous le meilleur resto de Charleville. Le personnel est très sympathique ce qui ne gâche rien ! La tête de veau revisitée est un délice. Toujours beaucoup d'originalité dans les assiettes.
