Excellent food, lovely staff and the most quaint place - well worthy of its reputation. Utterly charming and was filled with local French people when we went. Which is a comforting endorsement, in my book. ❤️ Very highly recommend.

I visited La Merenda for a solo lunch. The food and atmosphere were good. I thought the portions were big and was encouraged to order an entree and a plat which was too much food in the end which went to waste and upped my bill quite a bit. Would just keep in mind portion size when ordering but otherwise I recommend both the pesto pasta and the tripe

When I went, it was cash only.
Genovese was really delicious!
Of course the other dishes are also delicious. If you come to Nice, you can't leave without visiting here.
It was so delicious that I regretted only making a reservation once during my stay.

La Merenda is one of the most beautiful addresses in Nice! The Mediterranean/Niçoise cuisine is excellent!
We enjoy everything from starter to dessert, and the wine list offers local wines at affordable prices!
The staff is very pleasant!
The artists' paintings, the colorful earthenware plates, the hangings on the ceiling, the narrow kitchen, the dishes, the staff, the atmosphere, make this small restaurant a place full of emotions where you can spend a unique moment!
