A quiet place a priori (except when you are unlucky to come across a group of 6 friends who were talking so loudly that you couldn't hear each other). With well spaced tables. The map is of course superb. I recommend the grilled octopus but we want to try everything!

Superb place, everything is there from the aesthetics of the room to the quality of the food without forgetting the welcome and the service. A must for herring and salmon lovers. The Caesar salad is the signature dish. Unmissable Parisian address.

Excellent experience at Nordic House. We were made very welcome, the waiters took great care of us and the service was great. We recommend their famous Caesar salad which is to die for! They offer dishes that are both qualitative and quantitative. A big thank you to the team for this delicious meal. You can go there with your eyes closed!

Accueil toujours aussi agréable et professionnel ! La Boutique & Restaurant La Maison Nordique est pour moi le top de la qualité. Les produits sont frais et la cuisine est excellente. C’est un passage obligé lorsque je suis à proximité

Le restaurant de la Maison Nordique est comme ma 2ème maison. L'accueil est toujours très chaleureux, l'ambiance cosy vous met tout de suite à l'aise et les mets sont d'un goût exquis avec ma préférence pour la fameuse salade César ! Il y en a pour tout le monde et pour ma part c'est toujours un sans faute. Le personnel est serviable et d'une gentillesse inexplicable. Allez tout de suite effectuer votre réservation !!!

10/03/2024: Wanted a bar to watch an Irelabd rugby match. Thus fitted the bill but it is bit dingy, toilets are awful. Service and pints were good.

The Bowler

05/04/2024: After arriving in Paris from an overnight flight from NYC, we took our family of 6 around Paris. We were all beat from a lack of sleep and a lot of walking! We entered the Bowler right as it opened and the manager/bartended couldn’t have been nicer. He was quick to serve us and kind when our kids were literally falling asleep at the table. Our soups and sandwiches were delicious, as was the beer! They said it can get quite full and boisterous when a football match is being played, but that was not the case when we were there and it was exactly the food based welcome to Paris we needed.
08/03/2024: Bar which has the advantage of offering attractive prices compared to the rest of the 8th during Happy Hour.
