La Maison du Bagel sur Paris

Meal was great but the service needs a lot of work. Server was extremely rude. Didn't ask us if we wanted anything to drink and just gave us our food. When I asked about ordering drinks, he seemed really annoyed that we told him which drinks we wanted and then called over the sommelier. He didn't answer any of our questions properly. When asking about mimolette (because my friend had never had it before), he just kept saying it's different from comte (...thanks but not helpful??? extremely condescending) and when my friend was trying to guide him to talk about the textures, the flavors, giving him literal adjectives he could use (is it.. salty? creamy? etc.), he was just annoyed and said it was different. Not sure if the guy was depressed or something but he was literally helping himself to drinks behind the bar during service. We learned nothing about the food (though it tasted great), had very poor engagement with the server throughout the whole dinner. It was very disappointing because Maison Sota could be so much more if they got their front of house together.

Wonderful experience! Super friendly and enthusiastic stuffs that prepare dishes with care. Really enjoyed the chill atmosphere here. Simple and elevated dishes:)

Absolutely magical place. Every dish in the menu is masterfully executed, showing very balanced flavours which you could think you wouldn’t enjoy.

Reviewer from Singapore. This was hands down the best meal we had on our trip to Paris. Chef Atsumi and his team gave us a stellar and unforgettable experience to say the least! All in all each dish was expertly crafted and tasty. The flavors were fantastic. Well balanced and familiar but used in novel and exciting ways. The marriage of French and Japanese culinary techniques and high quality ingredients made it accessible to us and made for a very scrumptious meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting we enjoyed the ambience, and it heightened the enjoyment of the meal as a whole. My partner is not really a fan of pigeon as the taste of game is sometimes off putting to them. They were happy to accommodate and replaced the dish with Guinea Fowl which had a milder taste. Per pax €187/pax. We also had a truffle supplement for €40 each. We will definitely be back again when we’re back in Paris! We look forward to dining here again and see great things ahead for chef Atsumi!

A French restaurant in a house. The live feeling of the counter is the best! The food is delicious and the service is very friendly!

My partner couldn't go so I went alone but I loved this place. Went for the Sunday lunch and had a 7 course meal. I was seated at the bar so I could watch all the food preparations. Everyone was extremely friendly and I loved every bite I had, which doesn't always happen with a tasting menu. Unquestionably recommended and truly a value as well.

Exceeded my expectations! Perfect balance in each dish, with the scallop and dessert standing out. A bit noisy at peak times, but definitely worth the visit.

A treat and a real surprise for my birthday. Cozy room with a breathtaking view of the chefs cooking in front of us. Very nice discovery with excellent and super friendly staff. I recommend the food and wine pairing which allows you to discover new appellations.

An experience among the best lived in gastronomic or gourmet restaurants. Fine and sophisticated cuisine, tasty, pretty, balanced while playing on flavors and textures. Nothing to fault in these almost all original dishes which delight the taste buds and the senses for more than three delicious hours. Young and very kind team, warm decor. This house is worth the detour: tourists discovered it and shared this very good plan...
