We were seeking shelter from the rain and wind while waiting for our timed ticker to the Louvre, and we happened on La Fregate! It was open early, and they serve all items from the menu at any time. I enjoyed their French Onion Soup for breakfast (I've been looking for it for days, haha). The server was amazing. She spoke English well, and was so friendly and hospitable. I'm so glad our path led us to this restaurant!

A lovely corner café not far from the Louvre. Very friendly staff, a bit of traffic noise sitting outside. but don’t let that put you off. We only stopped for drinks but the menu looked very good.

Very nice restaurant right on the Seine near the Louvre. The food is great. Very tasty, the quality is right and the price-performance ratio is right here. The service was also great. Everything was quick, very friendly and accommodating. So if you are in Paris, the restaurant is recommended.

The staff were nice, not like usually in Paris. Mood was nice, location is great. Pasta was ok, but little more spice would make it great.

Stopped in for a coffee on our way to a Seine boat tour, coffee was great, decor was lovely a kind of old style Paris, Service was great slightly let down by the waiter who just flung the menu's on the table. However the toilets were most disappointing only one for ladies & one for men, ladies had quite a wait, mens were tatty with tiles missing around the flusher and the flusher it'self just plastic jutting out from the wall. For such a quaint little restaurant let down by the toilets.

17/03/2024: Very nice terrace but with higher prices not indicated: while the chocolate éclair is €3.50 in the bakery window, I was surprised to pay €6 for it on the terrace. If I had known, I would have taken it to go and sat on the bench opposite to eat it.
17/03/2024: We took croissants (very good) to take away for €1.30 because we initially wanted to sit on the terrace: the saleswoman told us that they work with the coffee stuck to them so we asked for a table but this long journey of 4 meters made the same croissant that comes from the bakery cost €2.50… a THEFT!!!! Not for the artisan but for the coffee
