Les Enfants Terribles is an establishment that pays homage to the famous film by Jean-Pierre Melville and the world of Jean Cocteau. Its refined and floral atmosphere offers a welcoming setting. The cuisine highlights seafood, with a wide choice from the fishmonger and fishmonger, as well as butcher's cuts from the renowned Norma butcher's shop. The hearty dishes, prepared with fresh, seasonal produce, are offered at reasonable prices, and the service is warm and attentive. In short, Les Enfants Terribles perfectly embodies its concept. I highly recommend trying the sea fry and the Pappardelle with scallops and lobster! Each dish, from starter to dessert, is prepared with care and love. I personally fell in love with the Suzette crepes for dessert! Remember to book in advance for any occasion.

Service was typical french service(not quite as attentive as american), but pretty tourist friendly. We had mojito and sangria for drinks- not great, both were pretty sweet. For food we had the beef flank steak and burger. These were pretty good but not great- would get seafood if we came back, as its definitely the specialty. The lemon meringue tart was also solid, but not amazing. Overall, I would go back, but it wouldnt be my first choice for the price.

We came for the infamous Bouillabaise fish soup, which we'd ordered a day earlier - which the head waiter forgot to mention when he scribbled my name on a piece of paper. Came back the night after - they had forgotten our reservation but a waitress remembered my face and we were urgently seated in the full restaurant at a..... not so nice, crowded table. Waited about 20min for the menu, ordered a starter...+ "the fish soup we ordered yesterday, you know"...huh? was the answer. Anyway, we finally got it, but it was absolutely not the delice I remembered from two years ago. The soup was brown and thin. It contained small fish fillets that were undercooked and had little or no flavour. Drowned in mayonnaise and croutons....We ate about 1/4 of this expensive dish for two. Waited another 25 minutes while the restaurant apparently closed at 21:15. The staff were chatting, fooling around, talking to a friend or making fun of each other. We finally had dessert ....no biggie. In tourist-filled Menton, this apparently popular restaurant needs to concentrate on CUSTOMERS and the general quality of their expensive food!

Wolf with a great salt crust, bananas flambéed live very good, staff at the top. Good blackcurrant wine. Very good restaurant with fresh products and top service.
