La Caillette sur Vaison-La-Romaine

What to say? It's sublime, from the reservation to the café it's a most pleasant moment. The restaurant is perched in the middle of the climb which leads to the castle, seated on tables arranged around an old have we delight in the chef's abode. And damn what a treat! A culinary experience, it's so good, so well seasoned. Everything is homemade and in quantities limited to the number of seats for the day. The chef, boss, waiter because yes he does everything, is very friendly and makes us have a good time. We will come back without hesitation at the opening of the next season!

Winning service! In old Vaison, it is from the bottom of the oven via the flight of stairs to the trickle of water from the washhouse that, without setbacks, Thierry, the ace of the abode, will FEDERATE all lovers of this traditional dish. We initially looked for the restaurant and found it because of the good reviews. A really beautiful little oasis in the ancient old town. We were absolutely not disappointed. The boss's specialty and the boss himself were a pleasure, so we're going to have another meal there tomorrow to finish off. Thank you for the beautiful moment.

After a search on the internet and a few comments later, the decision was made to test this table. The warm telephone welcome already sets the pace. ☺️ Welcomed with a smile by the chef, dynamic and very friendly. Small table next to a very beautiful fountain. Simplicity, efficiency in the dishes and fast service. The specialty La caillette or toast with goat cheese and tapenade are simply delicious. Just like the salted butter caramel dessert 😋😋. Discussion throughout with the chef, where laughter and relaxation accompanied this pleasant meal. Thank you very much for this great moment chef. Good luck for the rest of your busy season. And of course, I highly recommend this restaurant and its chef who fully deserve it.

Very warm welcome from the multitasking owner of this restaurant (waiter, cook, comedian and sportsman). No more abomasum but a succulent zucchini salmon ravioli gratin. We will come back with pleasure. Don't forget to say hello when you arrive, politeness damn it. Thank you for this meal.

A big thank you for this wonderful moment! Me who doesn't like abomasum, what a surprise to have appreciated the Chef's abomasum so much. A treat, fragrant herbs, not greasy at all.
