By far the best place in Poitiers to take a little break and relax. The pastries are excellent and the choice of tea is extensive, we are never disappointed! In addition, the manager and employees are adorable and know how to advise on the choice of teas. This place is unanimously praised every time I introduce it to friends who don't know Poitiers :)

After hearing many praises about this tea room we were finally able to test it....(Finally, because it is often full so be patient) Already...10 minutes of waiting to receive the card because there would not be enough for all the tables. Then... When our turn finally comes after 20 minutes.... We are surprised by the prices displayed...7€50 a slice of cake hurts... But we try and are won over...but don't doesn't deserve this price either, too bad. A hot chocolate for €6... We're also tempted... A little more disappointed by this one... It even becomes sickening at the end. Conclusion: If you want a tea room in the center of Poitiers, this is the place to go... But don't be afraid to put your hand in your wallet.

I've been coming many times now, and I'm always so delighted and satisfied! 🥰 The atmosphere is warm, soothing. The staff is very friendly! As for the pastries, they are magnificent and delicious! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend such pleasant moments 🫶🏼

My partner and I visited this tea room and several points emerged. The bad points: - A disappointing welcome: The major problem with this tea room is the lack of space. During our visit, at the end of November, it was very cold that day. Unfortunately, the tea room was full so we were made to wait outside, without means of warming up, a warm corner or even the slightest attention. Time runs out and 10 minutes later, still no sign of the waitress (boss?) even though two tables were free. So we came in again and got a table. Fortunately we had seen that tables had become available, since the waitress paid little attention to us as we waited painfully in the cold. We were lucky as a group of people, including an elderly lady, waited even longer. The cold was making this lady's joints suffer, her daughter decided to come in again to ask if it was possible to do something for her mother in the cold. The waitress told her no and that she had to wait sitting outside... - A lack of space: Consequently, this lack of space is also felt in the installation. We had purchases, our bags on this Saturday afternoon and we had little room to put them. In addition, we were very close to other customers, suffice to say that everything got along between our two tables. - Slow service: The waitress or owner likes to chat with her customers, which is pleasant but only when it does not interfere with the service! Once again, we waited more than 15 minutes to take our order even though the waitress was available. Once again, we had to call the waitress since she had surely forgotten us. She also took the liberty of responding to us in a haughty, infantilizing tone (probably due to our age). The good points: - Excellent tea: We ordered a sakura green tea and an orange and spice tea. The preparation and quality of the teas were excellent, one of the best teas in Poitiers. In addition, there are a lot of varieties of teas. - A very good cook: We also ordered teas and scones, only available on Saturdays. They were pretty good and it felt like dessert was made today. - The decor: Speaking of charm, the living room has its own design, character, from the wall to the porcelain and it's really nice. Summary : The price is correct for its quality and for the city. This tea room does not lack much to have 5 stars and I understand its current average rating (4.7). Unfortunately, during busy periods, the lack of space and service is really felt and spoils the experience of the tea room (more than 30 minutes of waiting before being served). A few small commercial gestures and an improvement in service would be welcome, hence this 3 star rating for my overall impression.

It’s a tea room that I can only recommend going to with your eyes closed. Everything is perfect. The welcome is warm. I had an excellent time there with very good hot chocolates and homemade pastries with quality products.
