Hibou Grand Duc sur Rennes

Very friendly, charming, cheerful place. We stopped there for a drink before heading to the BRETON creperie, right next door. Cozy pub reminiscent of an Irish pub. We will come back with pleasure when we return to Rennes

Great bar with nice “tapas” menu

A nice bar with a good selection of wines, cocktails, and local craft beers from Smash brewery. The floor is historical, a mosaic from a famous local mosaic maker, Odorico. The food looks interesting, but I haven’t tried it…yet.

Good atmosphere. Lots of choice in drinks and good food. Service a little poor.

In a word: Sublime Okay, let’s start with the exterior and the terrace. Ideally located in a street in the center, the terrace can only captivate you. You can sit there from 4 p.m. to enjoy a coffee or a pint for the more adventurous. Once inside the jovial and warm atmosphere will charm you. The owl, a true feat of cabinetmaking overlooking the aptly named bar, is a true work of art. The choice of drink is made on a large menu visible to all at the back of the bar. There is a wide choice, you may be undecided. But do not panic. Anouk Ferdinand and Elaï will be able to advise you with rare professionalism. Peckish? Theo, the true virtuoso cook, will delight you with his varied and elaborate menu which he frequently renews famous recipes. Friends looking for the ideal evening, look no further, the great horned owl is the place to go.

Je suis passé prendre quelques bières avec un ami la semaine dernière et franchement super accueil ! Un grand merci à Anouk et son collègue Ferdinand qui ont été si chaleureux... et les bières brassées local ... délicieuses A très vite :)
