In 2024: Back in Cancale, I couldn't wait to come back here for the famous mille-feuilles. In fact he was better as I remember.
In 2014: Finally, I got them! Crispy, light with a superb vanilla aroma. And at 2€95, even the price is digestible

Used to come about once a year... never disappointed, warm atmosphere and top service. Often the honor of being served by the boss, what a pleasure, professional and always smiling!
What can I say about the pastry chef... gold in his hands, between the melting pomé, the crispy mille-feuille and the incredible kouign aman... my heart is swinging!
Fan of tea rooms, this one remains my favorite... go for it!

A real treasure nestled in the center of Cancale, so much so that I couldn't help but return there every day. Everything is delicious, from hot drinks to pastries and pastries. In a traditional spirit we find a real taste of yesteryear. The service is impeccable. Hurry quickly to this temple of gluttony…

Very good pastries, excellent mille-feuilles... Except that there is quickly nothing left to choose from and quite early in the day. And what about the welcome, frankly very cold, it ruins the flavor of the pastries...

Cozy tea room, lots of traffic on Sunday lunchtime, but the pastries are excellent. Kouign Amann at the top of the best, the Paris Cancale is also a delight (Paris Brest with pistachio). The teas are also very good. The service is pleasant and the waitresses represent this establishment well. Some tables in the lounge are a little too visible to pastry buyers, otherwise the atmosphere is good and calm, everything you would expect from a tea room. For the rating of 5, I find that it lacks a small sofa, carpets...a more cocooning atmosphere in fact.

Pastry a little “prout prout my dear”, but the pastries are excellent and the mille-feuilles delicious. The rest is as good as millefeuille. The basics that are so forgotten in so many pastries and bakeries are there.
I add that the brioche is irresistible, with an unparalleled fondant.
They also sell bread with a “piece of wood” look. Not sexy for a penny and yet delicious. Natural sourdough, long fermentation and organic flour.

Succulent pastries, hot chocolate with extraordinary spices.
Perfect welcome and service from the young saleswoman. The boss, what can I say, haughty, proud and terribly noisy when she moves around - as if to make it clear that she is the boss. Used to the place, next time we will look before entering and we will turn around if it is there, period 😤.
