The épicerie is beautifully located in a place under plane trees, which is actually a good place to stay. However, the pigeons are a real nuisance, which spoils your stay. They fly onto the tables if the food isn't cleared away in time and lurk in droves on the floor to see if anything falls down. This is pretty disgusting and unhygienic! You can feel sorry for the waiters and waitresses. The tartines are delicious, but €8 for a slice of gratinated bread without everything isn't exactly small either.

The place is very nice, it's very old France, it's pleasant. The food is good and the prices reasonable, there is a large outdoor terrace, parking is difficult.

Simply excellent! Address taken at random (well, not entirely) after consulting Google reviews. We wanted a not too expensive restaurant, not too far from the Papal Palace: allow 800 meters on foot, which can be reached very quickly following the period facades. The menu mainly offers cold/hot toast, homemade desserts, a large choice of drinks for a really low price. The staff is very accommodating and really friendly. We recommend this establishment as much for its dishes as for the atmosphere that reigns there. Thank you for this lovely interlude during our visit to Avignon 😁

Very welcoming and warm restaurant both in the decoration and the service. The toasts are consistent. We had the cold toast with salmon and burrata/dried tomatoes (excellent!)

01/02/2024: An Avignon institution. A reference in terms of events and the Avignon setting. Ideal location in a historic setting in the center, the sound of the canal water on the mill blades relaxes the mind. Warm welcome and numerous concerts.

11/05/2024: Good service, pleasant setting, decent food but not incredible either. Arrived cold and a bit bland.
