A regular at Calzone, Reine, Peperroni, it is at Piazzetta that I embark on a new culinary adventure: pizza bianche🥸
I would love the Don Giorgio, topped with Mozzarella, pistachio mortadella, pistachio cream, and a nice ball of fresh buratta.
I was apprehensive, not about the quality of the dish, but about the explosion of flavors that awaited me (it's new, it's scary, understand)
What a treat. Nah but frankly, what a GREAT. The mortadella has officially become my favorite ham, the pistachio cream, as creamy as it is crispy with its little crumbs, made me want more with every bite.
The buratta adds a superb touch of freshness, the dough had a more than adequate texture (I ate my colleague's crusts).
I was in heaven, nothing could stop me. So unsurprisingly, I fell for a chocolate fondant for dessert (the photo speaks for itself)
Warm restaurant, just like the service, booked quickly it fills up FAST.
