Calm and relaxing atmosphere, refined cuisine. Everything was good

Every element of our evening was a delight. Each bite of food was tasty and worth savouring. The wine selection was well chosen and expansive. The service attentive and knowledgeable. Even the plates and stemware were elegant and imaginative. We’ll be back for sure.

No fault at all, we both left absolutely delighted by everything Etude has to offer and look forward to coming again. An absolute 10/10! Remarquable !

A stunning dinner. The calm and intimate side of the place gives the feeling of being alone in the world and of being extremely privileged to be able to taste the meticulous, precise and flavorful dishes of chef Keisuke Yamagishi. From appetizers to dessert, the flavors were sometimes surprising, sometimes comforting, the cooking perfect, the textures pleasant. The chef and his butler are attentive and very discreet despite the narrow dimensions of the restaurant. The wine list is quite remarkable. One certainty: we will come back.

Make way for the exceptional! The place first of all is magical: immense and monumental steel entrance door which hides a magical place, completely stripped and minimalist, as only the Japanese know how to do them! Two actors to take care of you: the waiter, very attentive, always present, and the chef of course, present with each dish and trying to explain the subtlety of his cuisine to you. Each dish is a true masterpiece firstly to the eye, then to the smells and flavors. I read in a recent review that this restaurant lost its Michelin star: so I strongly disagree! For me, this uncompromising chef deserves not one but two stars! We have the feeling that Keisuke Yamagishi puts all his heart and all his art into cooking, with the sole aim of amaze you for a few hours! We are far from the usual restaurants, even starred ones, artificial and without real personality. Of course, you can wait a little too long for a dish (you can't make a masterpiece in three minutes) or you may not typically like a proposition that is a little offbeat from the usual. But the surprise, the precision, the originality of this chef makes him a very great chef. As a bonus, a fairly incredible wine list, particularly from Burgundy, far superior to the majority of Michelin-starred restaurants and for prices that remain reasonable, unless you go to the great wines! A very limited number of places (guarantee of the quality and attention of the chef): run there, because unfortunately very good things often come to an end. The food was delicious! The concept is nice and allows us significant customization and the atmosphere is great, on top of that the decoration is great!

Japanese chef, modern, rather successful French cuisine. Very nice list of specialty Burgundy wines with “reasonable” prices for a region that is now completely unreasonable. Hard to say about the atmosphere, there were 2 of us in the whole restaurant…
