Really something different... something special. Very individual concept. Nice owner/service. The taste is completely convincing. (although not entirely cheap and manageable in terms of quantity) Bicycle parking behind the house.

If you are visiting Chenonceau, this is a perfect spot for lunch. The location and hours (open till 5pm) are convenient. The decor and service friendly, and above all the food and wines are local and outstanding.

Super nice restaurants with very kind hosts ! Bike parking in the back of the restaurant and lovely terrace in front. Delicious freshly prepared meals and home-made ice cream. Nice family business at a few steps away from the chateau. Highly recommended!

Je recommande vraiment, cuisine faite maison et avec goût service parfait et avec le sourire très accueillant moi je dis parfait un sans faute !!!

La Roseraie

06/05/2024: Very charming hotel, magnificent garden. Very pleasant staff, very clean room and rest of the hotel. Excellent restaurant and exquisite breakfast. Downside: the poor quality mattress (you can feel the springs) unfortunately, for a room at 100 euros per night… Missing one or two hooks or shelf in the bathroom. Beautiful place however, very relaxing, deserves to be known.
30/04/2024: Nous nous sommes arrêtés à « la roseraie » lors d’une excursion de 3 jours à vélo dans la Loire pour y manger et dormir. Nous avons mangés le bœuf Rossini, le filet de cannette, le pavé de thon et l’onglet. Ces 4 plats différents ont fait l’unanimité. La sauce, la qualité de la cuisson,… tout est maîtrisé. Quant au vin, le restaurant offre un choix varié au verre.
