Drouant sur Paris

Great experience, in a Parisian classic. A little too classic Parisian perhaps (not super modern), but if you are looking for a beautiful traditional house to eat very well in a cozy atmosphere, this is a good choice!

Beautiful restaurant with outstanding food and great service. We were a large group. Sommelier helped suggest wines from the massive wine list. Lamb was exquisite.

Perfect service in this restaurant known for some of these specialties, starting with the very good vol-au-vent but ultimately a little below my expectations in view of the glowing reviews. The red mullet was very good, as was the lemon tart, but my preference was for the pâté.

Great restaurant if you want something a bit more high-frills. Servers/somms were very nice and helpful and most importantly the food was delicious.

You have to try the crepe suzette

Excellent experience: good welcome, good advice. I recommend the vol au vent which is a tour de force of technique and taste. It was a great satisfaction!

Disappointment...not by the quality of the dish but by the lack of consideration given to its customers. While the room was half empty and the lunch service was almost over, two people were seated at the next table. We quickly understand that it is not customers but acquaintances of the staff who come to drink coffee. Unless you are deaf, it is impossible not to hear their discussion with one of the restaurant managers who is covering ours. We offer them a tour of the restaurant and we take the opportunity to ask a waiter if it is possible to move them to a table, the room being almost empty. He apologizes and promises to do so as soon as they return. Yet they will never move from their table. Our end of the meal is spoiled by the noise of this conversion. During the bill, the same waiter asks us if everything went well. We remind him of our request and the response “ah yes that was not possible”. Not possible in an almost empty room at 2 p.m.? For a high-end restaurant, at the price of the meal, what a disappointment...Drouant is no longer what it was...and that's a shame.

Excellent restaurant. Cecilian was exceptional. He made the dinner very special.
