The portions are small, the food was ordinary with not so much taste. The staff was friendly but kept forgetting orders, and We never got our water.

Family cuisine run by superb people. Everything was perfect; from the welcome through the service to the plate. A real treat, hence my 5 stars for everything. So much so that I didn't have time to take photos 😋😉

It’s a very cute family place in the alley. My boyfriend and I came for dinner and the food was amazing and delicious. The staff is super friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend if you’re a local or a tourist visiting looking for a place to eat while visiting Nice

Located in the heart of Old town. Place is small with most of the tables located ourside, which was very nice cause it was warm weather. Service was very welcoming and fast. We had lovelly little lunch. We had three different Rigatoni dishes and Salad Nicoise. Good size portions. Taste was ok, nothing spectaculare.

Quite a good restaurant overall, not generous enough in the offerings. We ordered a dish too bad the waitress didn't know that this type of dish with salmon was no longer available so suggested changing it to make it more complicated when we got an idea of ​​the dish

28/02/2024: I've had the chance to order twice from this place during my stay in Nice. La tomate specialises in pizzas, calzones, and other Italian treats. It is artisanal. Fresh ingredients are used, and your order is prepared and baked while you watch. There are almost 30 varieties of pizza, but again, they can cater to whatever combination of ingredients you fancy. I loved eating here and hope you'd try it if you're visiting Nice.
