Chez Theresa sur Nice

I waited more than 30 minutes for a practically empty pan bagnat for €6! Uninteresting and dry too!! Really very disappointed.

We stopped here after doing a walking tour of Nice and saw the big que outside and were recommended it by our guide. A good place to go if you want to try traditional food from Nice. We ordered the Socca which was yum and for not having any expectations other than knowing it’s made from chickpeas we were surprised by how much we liked it. We also got two of the pizza slices, onion and ratatouille, both were great. We also tried the Tourets de blettes sucree which we had heard was traditional spinach dish and was yum. The pastry was very flaky. Lastly we tried the traditional sandwich which we found yum, however if you don’t like tuna this would not be for you. Great place for lunch

The Pan Bagnat and pizza are great but as someone from an Indian background .. the socca is basically a besan ka cheela ( and it’s oily ) so though it’s a delicacy here my advice would be to try the other dishes for a more unique experience.

Very good. The Nice specialties are very good and not excessively expensive. It is better to go to the small restaurant in the alleys rather than on the square because there are fewer people. A lot of waiting which is definitely worth it.

The Socca was good, but not worth the wait. The other offerings were just ok. We were underwhelmed after reading all the stellar reviews.

He's fed up with your waiting, you don't know how to organize yourself, put 2 waitresses in front, it'll be better to wait 1 hour to get some socca. It's a shame, it's a shame because it's good.
