When you go ask for Daniel- he is FANTASTIC! Likewise, the food is top-tier. In particular, the egg mayonnaise and chocolate mousse are amongst the best anywhere. Also, the bone marrow is HUGE. If you are going to Paris, this is an easy recommendation.

Want one of the best meals of your life, this is the place. Had the pleasure of tasting their tartar, boeuf bourguignon and cruises du canard confitte. Heavenly. Finish with their profiteroles or mousse au chocolat, then you have tried the pinnacle of French cuisine.

Came here for the Beef Bourguignon. Fantastic dish. Big serving, 'nuff for two. Had some escargots, but that were ok; not my cup of tea. The services were outstanding; very attentive table waiting, very gentlemenly. The only pain was reservation is required a day ahead for dinner, even on weekday. Very busy.

Made a reservation for dinner at Chez Rene a couple days ago and had a blast. Excellent food and our waiter William was very friendly and offered great service. Will definitely be back when in Paris again! The profiteroles are amazing.

A true Parisian restaurant, with waiters who contribute to the charm of this legendary house. The decor with old exhibition posters from famous galleries gives the impression that time has stopped for a meal. This was the last stop of our visit to Paris and it was definitely the best, the food was very good especially the boeuf bourgoignon and the raviollis, the wine was wonderful, the space and the staff were very welcoming. An honorable mention to Daniel who elevated our lunch experience. I'm not going to attendons in Porto.

Une excellente brasserie, du grand classique et de la qualité
Nous avions pris des escargots, puis carré d agneaux pour ma femme et confit de canard pour moi.
C était excellent
Note de 5 étoiles pour une brasserie classique, mais pas une note 5 étoiles...
