Really nice and informative visit. The layout of the visit allowed us to remain sheltered from the sun. Some freshwater fish are exceptional.

I'm used to going to this aquarium, and with children it's even better, no waiting time even though I went there on May 1st. We ate there and it was very nice and very good above all. I would come back.

Super fun for children! Went there with a 5 year old, there was face painting, she was allowed to make her own chocolate bar and feed the fish.

Visiting the Aquarium du Périgord Noir was a truly enriching experience. The explanations provided about the species are detailed and very informative, making our visit both fun and educational. A highlight of our visit was the 'reptile carer' course. It was a unique opportunity for us to get closer to the animals under the supervision of a passionate keeper who shared his passion and knowledge in a captivating way.

13/12/2023: Simple and very nice campsite. Access to Bournat park from the campsite. Very cool. Very nice team.
13/10/2023: Can't recomend this place enough, spotless facilities, great pitches with shade and amazing staff. Our camper broke down while we there and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. When our camper broke down they fixed us up with a chalet, made phone calls, translated for us and even gave us a lift to the station when we had to fly home. A massive help during what was a very stressful time. Thanks again to you all you are amazing.

Hôtel Royal Vézère

16/09/2023: Must place to eat, service is outstanding. We have been impressed every time we have dined here.
13/09/2023: Stayed 6 nights here while on a Rail Discoveries trip to the area. A budget hotel, large bedrooms all with a small balcony, beautiful location by the river. Breakfasts are adequate and dinners were good. Staff were excellent. Swimming pool on roof terrace was OK but it's all the same depth so no use to non swimmers under 5'6". Well stocked bar at reasonable prices. Wold definitely stay here again if in the area.
