We were looking for an affordable way to introduce our tween and teen to a French dining experience while on a trip in Paris, and Chez Paul was perfect. We all chose from the lunchtime set menu, service was good and the food was delightful.

I went there 2 or 3 times in 2012-2013, and it was excellent! We clearly identify the boss who has the eye to manage the slab, I have an eternal memory of the marrow bones! Go for it without hesitation and pray that there is a place for you! The Parisian bistro incarnate! Well done to the owner and his team! I just gave the address to some American friends passing through Europe! Myself, this will be one of my first reservations during my next trip to Paris!

If you are in Paris and want typical French food then you have to go to Chez Paul. Perfect service. Best service. Traditionally stylish furnishings. Brilliant cuisine. 6 stars suspicious.

By chance, my friend and I came across this adorable brasserie with a completely Parisian feel. We were welcomed very warmly and immediately felt at home. The menu offers typically French dishes; I opted for snails as a starter, a great first and it was crazy. For the main course, the pot au feu and I also enjoyed it. Thank you again to the whole team for your lovely welcome, we will be back, as promised, very quickly!

excellent! Going through the door is like going through a time machine to the 1950's. Odd moment was when a young woman asked the bartender if there was a usb port anywhere to charge her phone. He looked at the dial telephone {which rang regularly with people making reservations) beside the giant log book where reservations were written down and checked off and said 'non madame'. The food was outstanding, the service excellent and the atmosphere most enjoyable. Suggest making a reservation (you can do that online, surprisingly). Also, all staff seem to be fully capable in both English and French.

We had a lovely dinner here. We made reservations in the afternoon for an 815 dinner. We looked at the menu online, but we ended up ordering other things than what we planned because everything looked so good. We decided on the lamb shoulder for 2, onion soup gratinee, stuffed rabbit, and of course escargot! We appreciated the house wine as well. All the servers we so friendly and attentive. They made us laugh many times. Would recommend, would go back again!
